BIOGRAPHY OF TRACY HUNSAKER GILROY

36 YEARS OF LEGAL SERVICE TO OVER 1600 CLIENTS:   Tracy Hunsaker Gilroy is the President of The Gilroy Law Firm and has served over 1600 Clients in Washington, Missouri and in Illinois. The Firm is now exclusively located in Snohomish County Washington.  For 36 years, Ms. Gilroy has concentrated and represented the Firm’s Clients in state and federal courts in complex constitutional property rights matters, real estate and contractual and business matters, as well as estate planning issues. 

PROPERTY & ESTATE PLANNING EXPERIENCE:  Ms. Gilroy enjoys counseling individuals, businesses and families in the world of wealth and wealth protection, which includes real estate.  Each case is treated as the unique matter that it is.  The laws are continually changing too.  So, it is essential to be up to date and a continual student of real estate law and estate planning profession with national and regional experts as mentors and teachers.  Ms. Gilroy has studied estate planning and estate administration with the American Bar Association’s Probate and Trust Section, Washington’s Estate Planning Council, and the Washington State Bar Association and as a concentration of her legal studies at St. Louis University School of Law.  Her real estate practice has been enhanced through being a Trial and Appellate Court lawyer as well as having drafted contracts and closed on hundreds of properties.  

HIGHEST RATING AS A LAWYER:  Ms. Gilroy has been continually awarded an attorney’s highest ranking of A.V. Lawyer in Martindale-Hubbell, as well as the designation of Pre-Eminent Lawyer.  

MEDIATION & ARBITRATION:  Ms. Gilroy is also an accomplished Mediator and Arbitrator.  In 1994, she co-founded a chapter of the Association of Attorney Mediators and has recently organized a non-profit organization for mediation and arbitration in Washington – The MAC located in Stanwood, WA.  For 26 years, Ms. Gilroy has mediated and arbitrated business disputes, property disputes, employment disputes and personal injury matters.  She has been certified by the United States District Court and the American Arbitration Association.  She has served on the Commercial Dispute Panel of the AAA and has volunteered her services to bar associations and to the Supreme Court of Missouri to resolve lawyer disputes and lawyer disciplinary matters.  Presently, she is a member of the Snohomish County Bar ADR and the Washington State Bar ADR Sections.  

SERVICE TO THE PROFESSION & COMMUNITY:  Throughout her legal career, Ms. Gilroy has served her community and her profession.  She has served as a Governor of the Missouri State Bar Association, the President of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, Chairman of the Trial Section and the Chairman of the Solo and Small Firm Committee of the American Bar Association.  She is frequently published in legal journals and is a frequent speaker on legal topics throughout the United States.
